About the Conference

The Recent Appointees in Materials Modelling (RAMM) conference will take place on March 23rd and 24th 2016 at Queen Mary, University of London, and will provide the opportunity to build national networks among new academic appointees (lecturers, research fellows and senior postdocs) from across the UK with different but complementary backgrounds in the general area of materials modelling. The conference will include sessions and plenary talks covering research topics ranging from simulations of condensed and soft matter, to functional or catalytic materials discovery. The meeting is sponsored by the Thomas Young Centre: the London Centre for the Theory and Simulation of Materials.

The conference is free to attend and some travel bursaries may be available. If you have questions about the registration process or any other matter about RAMM2016 please do not hesitate to contact the organisers. We hope to see you at Queen Mary in March 2016.
